Wonderful things for people to know! I love the point of “practicing hospitality.” That says a lot!
Yes! I am still learning the skill myself (:
Talk about informative! I never went to college, but still find these beneficial reminders to focus on more than just buckling down on classes like I did in high school. It’s good to think of the future too – without stressing over it. Great information!
Yes, it’s so important to prepare for your future after high school! College or not (: thanks Stephanie!
Lots of wonderful points! Can I add one under “intellectual”? Use your local library! So many people in their 20’s think the library is just for children/families or old people, but it’s an amazing free resource. Yes, you can get tons of books, but most libraries also loan out DVDs, video games, audiobooks, and offer services and programs you didn’t even know about. Most libraries also have ebooks so you can still read even when we’re at home right now 🙂
Ah wonderful Becky! I use the library each week so that definitely should be included!
So many great ideas here! I wish I had this kind of advice when I was starting my twenties out on my own. I love the idea of being a lifelong learner. That’s something I still strive for in my thirties.
That’s so encouraging Kait!
