Day-to-day life is not easy as a mom. In fact, I truly believe that motherhood is the hardest job in the world! It pushes you to limits of sacrifice, patience, and love that you never knew were possible.
To raise our children to love and follow Jesus is truly a remarkable and good calling, but it’s not an easy one. Daily encouragement is not something I just want – I need it!

I truly enjoyed reading this book because it has both a mother and daughter perspective. It also focuses on where we as Christian moms spend most of our time – our home!
The house you turn into a home as a mom creates memories, builds relationships, and hosts guests. It is a place that impacts your world and worldview more than you realize. I appreciate the perspective this book offers in making your home a sanctuary!

While this is an older book, it has timeless information, specifically on biblical evidence of what a wife is and her roles in the family unit!
As Christian moms, we have to constantly remind ourselves that our husband comes before our children. If our relationship with our spouse is not put first, the whole house will crumble.
Even though our children demand so much from us emotionally, physically, and spiritually, our husband needs a wife that is rooted in biblical truth first.

This is a wonderful book to turn to for encouragement in your motherhood journey. Especially as a young mom, I love that this book elevates the role of being a mom. I am not “just” a stay-at-home mom but a Christian mom living out my great calling in this world!

My sister-in-law gifted me this book when I was pregnant with my first child. I am so glad she did because I had no idea the demand motherhood would have on me, right from the beginning!
