The first thing to do is click this link or find your way over to www.amazon.com and search for “baby registry” in the search bar. You’ll see this page:
Click: “Create a new Baby Registry” and begin filling in your information.
If you are skeptical about putting in all your information, I would encourage you to enter as much as you feel comfortable but don’t hold back too much.
The more information you provide Amazon, the easier it will be for them to tailor the correct products for you.
I would suggest also making your registry public so that it easy to find and access (and perhaps more gifts for you!).
Make sure you have the box “Allow my gifts to be shipped to my address from all sellers.” is selected. That way, your gifts can arrive right at your doorstep. It truly is hassle-free!
I also suggest connecting your registry with Bump.com so that you can connect all your baby items together. I don’t really see a reason not to do this.
Other moms will be familiar with this website and will be able to relate to your needs and desires when they see the items on your baby registry.
This is just another way of making it easier for guests to purchase the items you want them to purchase. Don’t get stuck with a bunch of gifts you didn’t even ask for.

Here’s a big secret/hack that I learned when I was getting started with Amazon registries: don’t just shop big-ticket and popular items.
While Amazon has a great checklist for you to follow and will feature its best-selling products for you, most of these are not universal when it comes to a baby registry.
Here’s the thing, each mother is different and has a different preference. By simply getting the featured items, you are failing to select gifts that will bring the biggest blessing to your family, especially yourself and your newborn.
Do your research. Which items best fit your needs? Only add the item to your registry once it passes the test of aligning with your needs and lifestyle. Just because it is purchased a great deal and is a popular item does not necessarily mean it will work for you.
One fatal mistake I have seen time and time again is mothers going crazy, desperate to get all the things they need, that they fall into temptation. They add things to their registry they don’t even end up using or things that don’t make sense of the season of the life they are about to enter.
While it’s good to think ahead to the future, nothing is guaranteed. Put things on your registry that are necessary for the immediate future.
To create the best Amazon Baby Registry in the world let’s begin with big-ticket items that are harder to afford. Be sure you consider all the factors necessary for each one before adding to the registry and that you do your own research.
