Hi, I’m Kelsey and I am so thrilled you are here!

And no, I’m not an actual Grandma! (; 

I’m just your average 20-something sharing what God has been teaching me lately.

I founded this blog, GoodPointGrandma.com, after I graduated college. It was May 2018 when my first blog post went live. I wanted to share everything I had learned from my college experience and early 20’s to help others!

  

I also wanted to create resource pages for my new essential oils business. (I don’t actively sell essential oils now but still love to use them!)
                                                                                               
While this blog no longer focuses on helping 20-somethings specifically, I still provide strategic resources, encouragement, and wisdom in all areas of life so the transition to adulthood and motherhood doesn’t have to be so hard.
                                                                                         

Since starting this blog I have gotten married, had two daughters, and moved to an 80-acre homestead in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, our Bethsaida Homestead.

We have laying chickens, meat chickens, occasional other poultry, meat rabbits, dogs, cats, and hopefully sheep soon too! Plus, a beautiful garden!

I named this blog Good Point Grandma because I want to return to the simple, old-fashioned life our grandparents knew. Yes, it is a hard life, but the simplicity comes from focusing on what truly matters.
